Inspired by the busy souks and ancient walls of Morocco, our Medina Market Basket tells a beautiful story of timeless craftsmanship and care. Handwoven by straw artisans in the coastal town of Essaouira, the market basket stands alone as room décor when accessorizing your home but ideally it will get put to work like its forebears—packed with picnic lunches, sunblock and towels for lazy days at the beach or if you are like us – computers and paperwork. The hand-dyed, hand-sewn leather handles are assembled in another town and finally, they are packed and shipped to you.

Perfect Gift!

I love these baskets, and have purchased all of the sizes. I buy the large ones as gifts often—the Zodiac ones are especially fun! I have the Medium in Green and the small in Ivory for myself, and I use both of them all year. They even look adorable hanging on a hook, and their light weight is especially nice. I’ll be gifting another one this Christmas, and they are always well-received. Highly recommend!
