On finding her perfect fall sweater: It needs to feel substantial, not flimsy, but soft enough that you want to live in it.
Her go-to fall outfit formula: Layers that assume the day will change its mind. A great blazer with a chambray button-up underneath, wide leg jeans, and boots that have earned their keep.
The #1 style rule she swears by (and one she breaks): The only rule I actually swear by is to dress for yourself, not for an invisible committee of onlookers. I love breaking the idea that certain colors or styles have an expiration date.
An unconventional style trick: I think of my closet the way I think of my house: collected, not assembled all at once. Nothing this good ever came together in a single shopping trip.
