Sea La Vie began as a conversation—about mornings that turn into afternoons, about pieces you never want to take off, about the beauty of feeling at ease in your own routine.
In collaboration with Selma Blair, a woman known for her personal style and point of view, we set out to create a pajama collection that could move effortlessly from bed to beach to breakfast. What followed was a deeply hands-on, detail-driven process—one rooted in storytelling, memory and the small, meaningful touches that make each piece feel personal.
This is a peek inside how it all came together.
behind the thread
Working with Selma has been a joy. She’s a true collaborator, and at this point, a good friend. She’s also, of course, an artist, so her creativity really came through in the design process.
Every piece in Sea La Vie tells a story—of memory, of personality, of the little things that make something truly yours. Thoughtfully designed and deeply personal, the details are where this collection comes to life.
