"Our best friend and material of choice for travel, play or just getting things done."
What makes a pair of jeans “made for travel”?
We’ve searched around the world to find the answer. The key ingredient: a traveler who knows what it means to live in jeans. That’s us.
Co-founders Mel and Lina travel from China to Thailand to Ecuador to Paris and back to the States, where they regularly hop from plane to plane, city to city and jean to jean.
They wear denim everywhere, from trade shows to manufacturing meetings to dinners and drinks. They know exactly what they love and hate about jeans on an airplane, and that’s how they knew they’d make the best pair for you.
Denim is a way of life, understood the world over—like a smile. It is a reliable friend, an art form, a lifestyle.
Our jeans are made with four-way stretch technology, providing an element of stretch that holds its shape. This way, your denim can move with you while contouring to your body.
Our exception, the Ellis Boyfriend, is a firmer, loose-fitting straight leg cut to complement our four-way stretch series of mini boot cut, wide leg, sailor and cigarette.
Every pair of jeans has a story—and you know how we love stories... Check out our latest series featuring women in our denim. Oh, the places you’ll go!
Oh, The Places You'll Go...
We traveled cross-country to interview women we know and admire about how they move and who they are. From founders and photographers to dancers and doctors, we are sharing the story of business-building, dream-gathering and traveling—all in our denim.

Friends—
We hope you love this series, and our denim of course. We have been waiting to highlight the aspirational women we’ve met in our lives and through the life of MERSEA.
In our travels, we’ve been fortunate to make pitstops to see friends and share dinner with business partners who become friends and connections that last a lifetime.
Over the years, this collection of women, and more, have helped us become who we are and we can’t wait to see who you become when you wear our denim.
XOXO, Mel & Lina
