We are humbled to announce our partnership with Kanbe's Markets for an incredible gift to give and get. Kanbe’s Markets is on a mission to build a more inclusive food system by transforming food loss into food access. Their work serves the most vulnerable in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area while reducing unnecessary waste of nutritious foods discarded into landfills, through 75 healthy corner store partners and counting.

We felt a connection to this nonprofit from years of working in foodpantries with our kids and seeing firsthand what access to fresh food provides for communities within our city. We believe the Kanbe’s model of turning food waste into food access has the ability to change the landscape of more than just Kansas City, eliminating food deserts one zip code at a time.
